Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use Cerebrus at admin.cerebrus.cloud. By signing in you agree to them.
The service
Cerebrus is a private document knowledge base with AI chat, run by Bruno Falcão (“we”). Accounts are created by an administrator. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Your content
You own the documents and other content you put into Cerebrus. You give us only the permission needed to store and process it to run the service for you. You promise that you have the right to upload or link what you add.
Your AI keys and costs
Cerebrus runs on AI provider keys that you add yourself. You are responsible for those keys, for keeping them secret, for any cost your provider charges, and for following your provider’s terms. Cerebrus shows its own estimate of AI usage, but your provider’s bill is what counts.
Connected accounts
If you connect Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, you confirm the account is yours or that you may use it this way. You can disconnect at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not use Cerebrus to:
- break the law or upload content you have no right to use;
- attempt to access other people’s accounts or data, or to bypass the security of the service;
- disrupt the service, for example with abusive volumes of requests, malware or attacks;
- share your login with others.
Answers can be wrong
Answers are written by AI from your documents and can contain mistakes. Cerebrus cites its sources so you can check them. Do not rely on an answer alone for legal, medical, financial or other high-stakes decisions.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
No warranty
Cerebrus is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copy of anything important.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for costs charged by your AI provider. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, which for a free account is zero. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Cerebrus after a change, you accept the new terms.
